Modern Legion is a curated retail platform featuring products from Modern Legion and select partner brands. Because some products may be fulfilled directly by a brand or supplier, return handling can vary by item. This policy explains the general return and refund rules that apply to purchases made through our website.

1. General Return Eligibility

3. Partner Brand Fulfillment

Modern Legion acts as the retailer and customer-facing storefront, but some products sold on this website may be fulfilled directly by a partner brand, manufacturer, or supplier.

As a result:

  • return instructions may vary depending on the item
  • returned items may need to be sent to a brand or supplier instead of Modern Legion
  • return authorization may be required before a return is shipped
  • refund timing may vary slightly depending on when the returned item is received and inspected by the applicable fulfillment partner

We will remain the customer-facing point of contact and will coordinate the return process as needed.

4. Return Request Process

No direct exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item, please return the eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order..

Shopify supports returns and exchanges as separate workflows, so it helps to state clearly whether you do exchanges or only returns plus reorder.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Unless an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise required by law, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Any original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or unless the return is due to our error.

8. Refunds

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Refund timing can vary depending on your payment provider and the fulfillment model.   • full refunds
  • partial refunds
  • store credit
  • replacement product

9. Canceled Orders

We may cancel orders for reasons including inventory issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, legal restrictions, fulfillment partner limitations, or other operational concerns. If a canceled order has already been paid, we will issue a refund as appropriate.

If you request a cancellation, we cannot guarantee that the order can be stopped once it has entered processing or been released to a fulfillment partner.

10. Delayed or Unshipped Orders

If we advertise a shipping timeframe, we are expected to have a reasonable basis for meeting it. If no shipping timeframe is stated, federal FTC rules generally require sellers to ship within 30 days or obtain the customer’s consent to a delay or provide a prompt refund for unshipped merchandise.

If an order cannot be shipped within the promised time, or within 30 days where no time was promised, we may contact you with the option to:

  • cancel the unshipped portion of the order for a refund

11. Refused Deliveries and Return to Sender

If an order is refused, undeliverable, or returned to sender due to an address issue, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal, we may deduct original shipping charges, return fees, or other carrier costs from any refund where permitted by law.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
